No ambiguity about what to do next. The complete sequence from draft to signed document.
Step 1
Generate the agreement
Go to app.bizdraft.com/editor. Enter: the type of agreement, the parties' names, the services being provided, payment amount and terms, project timeline, governing state. Click Generate. BizDraft produces the complete agreement.
Step 2
Review the draft
Read through the generated agreement. Use the plain-language clause explanations if a clause is unclear. Edit any clause that doesn't fit your deal. The Word file is fully editable; the PDF is ready for immediate signing if you're satisfied with the draft as generated.
Step 3
Download the PDF
Click Download PDF. Save the file to your computer. This is the document you'll upload to SignNow in the next step. (If you edited the Word file first, save it as PDF before uploading.)
Step 4
Upload to SignNow
Go to signnow.com. Create a free account (takes about 30 seconds — just an email and password). Click "Upload Document" and select the PDF you just downloaded from BizDraft.
Step 5
Add signature fields
In SignNow's document editor, drag a "Signature" field to the signature line for each party. Add a "Date" field next to each signature block. Assign each field to the appropriate signer by entering their email address as the signer for that field.
Step 6
Send for signature
Click "Send for Signature." Enter each signer's email address. Add an optional message (e.g., "Please review and sign the attached service agreement"). Click Send. Each signer receives an email with a link to the document.
Step 7
Track signing status
In SignNow's dashboard, you can see which signers have opened the document, who has signed, and who still needs to complete. Send reminders directly from SignNow if a signer hasn't acted after a few days.
Step 8
Receive and store the signed document
Once all parties have signed, SignNow sends a notification. The fully executed document — with all signatures, dates, and the audit trail — is available in your SignNow dashboard. Download it for your records. Both parties receive a copy by email.
