If something looks too good, it usually deserves a closer look.
No registration. No card. Not now, not later.
The promise
Whatever we do next, these three stay where they are. They're the reason BizDraft exists.
Drafting an agreement is free. No paywall, no trial, no quota that turns into a subscription. The whole point of BizDraft is that the drafting is solved.
We don't ask for one. Not to start, not to download. There's nothing to charge against, no quiet "free trial" timer in the background.
There's no signup because there's nothing on our side to sign into. The agreement lives in your browser tab. Close the tab and it's gone on our side.
The business model
BizDraft is built and funded by airSlate — the company behind SignNow, pdfFiller, and DocHub. airSlate's paid products handle e-signature, PDF editing, and document workflows for over 100 million users worldwide.
BizDraft solves one specific thing — the drafting — for free. The cost of drafting is paid by airSlate, on the bet that some people who use BizDraft will go on to sign, send, or refine their document. If they do, they'll meet airSlate's paid products on the way out.
If they don't, that's fine too. The draft is yours either way.
BizDraft handles the drafting. When you're ready to sign, send, or refine the document, these sister tools from airSlate take it the rest of the way — all free to try.
SignNow is the eSignature solution built for your entire organization — giving the whole team everything they need to send and sign documents, without user limits or complex setup.
Honest answers
Yes. No paywall, no trial, no credit card. There's no account because there's nothing on our side to sign into.
The catch is the SignNow / pdfFiller / DocHub recommendations at the end. Those are airSlate's paid products. If you want an e-signature tool, our suggestions are right there. If you don't, you can ignore them — your Word file works anywhere.
The drafting itself stays free. That's the whole product. If we ever add anything beyond the drafting (a team workspace, batch generation, that sort of thing), those would be separate offerings.
For most use, no. We do soft-cap downloads per browser session to keep automation off the service. You won't see it during normal use.
No. The draft you make lives in your browser tab. We don't keep it after you close the tab, and there's nothing to sell. See Trust & privacy for the full story.
State law matters for these agreements, and we wanted to get the state-aware drafting right before going broader. V1 is U.S., all 50 states. Other jurisdictions are on the roadmap.
A service agreement, an NDA, a lease. All 50 states. Plain English. Yours to keep.
