Three things people ask first: what stays on our side, what the AI does, and where the line is between drafting and legal advice.

The three promises
Privacy, AI honesty, legal scope. Everything else flows from these three.
Your draft lives in your browser tab. We don't store it on our side, we don't share it, we don't sell it. There's nothing to sell.
BizDraft drafts with AI. We don't claim "lawyer-quality" or "guaranteed enforceable." Review every clause. Hand high-stakes drafts to an attorney before signing.
BizDraft is a drafting tool. It doesn't provide legal advice and doesn't create an attorney–client relationship. For high-stakes situations, consult a lawyer.
What we store
The agreement you draft is built and edited in your browser. The text of your draft does not get saved to our database, does not get used to train future models, and does not get shared with anyone.
What we do collect, like any web service: standard server logs (IP, browser, page) and basic analytics for product improvement. We use those to keep the service running and to know which agreement types people actually use. We don't tie them to the contents of your draft, because the contents aren't on our side.
When you close the editor tab, your draft is gone — from our side. The downloaded file is yours, on your machine, your responsibility.
What the AI does
BizDraft uses AI to draft your agreement — the clauses, the structure, the state-specific adjustments. The AI is doing what a fresh paralegal might do at 2 a.m.: assembling a competent first draft from the facts you provided.
What it isn't doing: making strategic legal judgments about whether this is the right kind of agreement for your business, whether the terms favor you in negotiation, or whether you should sign. Those are decisions only you and (where it matters) your attorney can make.
That's why we won't claim the output is "lawyer-quality," "guaranteed enforceable," or "100% accurate." It's a tailored draft. Read it. Edit it. Sign it when you're satisfied.
Common questions
The agreement you draft lives in your browser tab, not on our server. Close the tab and it's gone on our side. We prompt you to download before you go.
A signed agreement is binding under the same rules as any other — both parties competent, clear terms, lawful purpose, signatures. The drafting tool doesn't change that.
What we won't claim is that any agreement is right for any deal. For high-stakes engagements, hand the Word file to your attorney before you sign.
BizDraft is built around the federal layer plus the state law of each U.S. state — security-deposit caps, contractor licensing rules, IP defaults, mandatory disclosures. When you pick a governing state in the intake, the draft is adjusted accordingly.
This is not a substitute for an attorney who knows the specifics of your situation. It's a substitute for not having a draft at all.
Recommended for high-stakes drafts. Download the Word file, send it to your attorney, let them mark it up. We don't lock the file or require you to come back to BizDraft.
No. BizDraft is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Using BizDraft does not create an attorney–client relationship.
No. The contents of your draft are not used to train the underlying models. Full details live in the privacy notice.
