Encrypted in transit. Not stored at rest. Backed by airSlate's enterprise security infrastructure. Here's the full picture of how BizDraft handles the data involved in your drafting session.

Three security facts
The three areas that matter most for security of your drafting session.
All data transmitted between your browser and BizDraft's servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security). The text you enter during a drafting session travels encrypted — the same standard used by banking and e-commerce applications. A passive observer on the network cannot read the content of your request.
The content of your draft is not stored in BizDraft's database. Once your session ends, the draft content is gone from our side. There is no server-side database holding copies of your agreements. The security model is simple: data that isn't stored can't be breached.
BizDraft runs on airSlate's infrastructure — the same platform used by 100M+ users across SignNow, pdfFiller, and DocHub. airSlate maintains enterprise-grade security practices including SOC 2 compliance, regular penetration testing, and organizational security controls that apply across the product portfolio.
What this means in practice
When you draft an agreement in BizDraft, the text you type is sent to the AI model server-side over an encrypted connection. The model generates the draft, returns it to your browser, and the draft is displayed in your session. At no point is the draft content written to a persistent database — it lives in the server memory only for the duration of the request, then it's gone.
The downloaded Word file lives on your machine. You're responsible for how you store and transmit that file. If you email it to the other party, the security of that transmission depends on your email provider. For high-sensitivity agreements, consider using an encrypted file transfer or a signed document workflow via SignNow.
Common questions
Yes. All communication between your browser and BizDraft's servers is encrypted using TLS. The text you enter and the draft returned to you are transmitted over an encrypted connection.
BizDraft runs on airSlate's infrastructure, which maintains SOC 2 compliance and enterprise security certifications across its product portfolio. For specific compliance documentation, contact airSlate's enterprise team via airslate.com.
TLS encryption means that a passive observer on the network — even on an insecure Wi-Fi network — cannot read the content of the data in transit. The connection is encrypted end-to-end between your browser and the server. Standard TLS provides strong protection against interception in transit.
Because draft content is not stored persistently on BizDraft's side, there is no database of your agreements that would be affected by service changes. The downloaded Word files on your machine are yours and are not affected by BizDraft's operational status.
